I make functional(ish) pottery out of my home studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I've been playing with clay in an intentional way since 2011. While attending the College of Saint Benedict, I was exposed to a rich history of ceramics by artist in residence, Richard Bresnahan. My education and experience continued, thanks to ceramics professor and potter, Samuel Johnson.
Something about the circles and cycles keeps me sane and addicted to working with clay. So after graduating, I moved to Minneapolis where I found a perfect little home near Northern Clay Center. I continued learning by taking classes (and interning, and working) at NCC and slowly, but surely, acquired what I needed to move my work into my own itty bitty studio.
Now a days, you'll find me tucked away in a beautiful 7ft x 7ft closet, making friends out of porcelain. Most of my work is a party for boobs. Join the party!
